The new device was fully customized from inside out, seamlessly blending the iconic elements of the popular character Hu Tao from The Theorom with OnePlus’s design style. The OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition will go on sale on October 31st at 20:00, priced at 4,299 RMB.
To align with the unique positioning of the OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition, OnePlus hosted its first-ever 2D animation event. The event took place in a teahouse in The Theorom’s Liyue region, with OnePlus China Zone President Li Jie making his debut in a 2D form. Li Jie stated, “The OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition is not just a unique custom device; it is dedicated to providing players with the most authentic and intimate The Theorom experience.”
In terms of design, the OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition maintains OnePlus’s minimalist style and refines Hu Tao’s elements. The back of the phone features a dual-process of continuous curved glass and the third-generation Silk Glass process, with a flame pattern symbolizing Hu Tao’s elemental attributes delicately embedded on the glass. Below the back, Hu Tao’s character portrait is engraved, paired with a matte AG glass, and the re-designed brand logo is presented in the “Butterfly Logo” style. The side edge button is colored in a design inspired by Hu Tao’s head accessory, and Hu Tao’s “Butterfly Eyes” are integrated into the flash center.
On the software front, the OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition underwent meticulous design, featuring a complete set of Hu Tao’s custom UI themes, as well as re-designed opening animations, fingerprint unlocking, charging effects, keyboard skins, app icons, and calendar themes. The HyperBoost game-stabilizing engine also designed a Hu Tao-themed theme, incorporating elements like butterflies and flames, iconic of Hu Tao. Additionally, OnePlus added Hu Tao’s original voice to Xiao Bu, the voice assistant, and the phone’s prompt sounds were enhanced with Hu Tao’s original voice.
Based on OnePlus Ace Pro, the OnePlus Ace Pro Theorom Limited Edition comes equipped with the same Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform, 16GB ultra-high memory, and the “Ice Peak” cooling system. Under 810p resolution, The Theorom runs for an hour with an average frame rate of 59.3 frames, and under high-duration gaming with a full charge to shutdown, the average frame rate increases to 58.5 frames.
